Common Assessments 101
Effectively roll-out common assessments on Edcite's premium school and district platform, Edcite Schools. This session will walk through the process for both District Distributed and Teacher Assigned Common Assessments and identify the most common reasons for selecting one pathway over the other.

Ensuring IEP Compliance: Setting up Accommodations for Students
Learn how to use Edcite's student groups and assignment settings to ensure that students have the tools that they should for every assessment they complete on Edcite. This session will walk through the tools available on Edcite and which ones are considered Universal Tools and which ones need to be explicitly turned on.

Adding New Data Sources to DataHub
This session will walk DataHub administrators through the process of connecting new sources of data to the centralized system and set the sync frequency. We will also review best practices for different data types, mapping tables, leveraging SQL queries, formulas, and conditional formatting, and adding the appropriate filters and drill downs.

Building DataHub into your Workflows and Data Protocols
This session will review ways to incorporate the data collection and display tools into your ongoing workflows and data analysis. A few examples we will walk through are: collecting F&P data (or a similar reading assessment), generating risk scores based on specific criteria, and identifying students eligible for intervention.

ELA & Humanities Question Type Deep Dive
This session will review best practices for efficiently building text and media-based assessments. Whether you are building an assessment with paired passages or looking to build a document based question for a history class, the process for building multiple questions for a set of materials is essential knowledge. Cloning questions, ELA-specific assessment settings, and the most popular question types for ELA & humanities teachers.

Secondary Math Question Type Deep Dive
This session will dig deeper into secondary math question types and tools to ensure you know how to fully leverage Edcite's advanced math capabilities. Explore the nuanced settings within Edcite's auto-grading capabilities - using conditional scoring, variable based questions and answers, group scoring for interchangeable answers, equivalent answers, and more! This is also a great time to learn about the new graphing and keypad question types that have been added for the new school year.

Elementary Math Question Type Deep Dive
This session will focus on elementary math question types. Edcite has more than 60 types of questions and elementary math accounts for many of those. This session will do a basic intro to the many question types that align with elementary math skills. These question types include graphing, building fractions, identifying place value, working with number lines, writing in different number forms, telling time and manipulating clocks, building arrays, number entry, and more!

Building Assessments on Edcite from State Blueprints
Released state assessments are some of the most popular assignments on Edcite, but sometimes teams want to build their own assessments rather than using what is released. Using state blueprints around number of questions for particular skills and questions types, teachers can build aligned materials using items from Edcite's Question Library or questions they develop from scratch. This session will model the process of developing assessments using state blueprints.
