Classes - Set a class password

Edcite does not share student passwords for security reasons. Teachers can, however, set a 'class password' so students can log in with that password and then change their own passwords. They will need to know their userids to login. 

Here are the steps to set a class password:

1. From the main navigation bar on the left of your screen, select Rosters, My Classes, then click on the name of the class you'd like to reset the password for.


2. Click on the green Edit Class button to the top right of your screen.


3. Select the blue Generate button near the middle of the pop-up window.

4. A password will appear that students in the class can use if they forget their password. Students should then reset their password to ensure account security.
