Sub Admin Account - What I Can/Can't Do? [Edcite Schools Feature]

Sub Admin status is for anyone who should have additional authorizations beyond the typical Edcite Schools teacher account. Some examples of roles that are granted sub admin status are principals, coaches, and district administrators.

The main administrator account (each district only has one main admin account) can setup Sub Admins. Please contact your administrator if you need to be granted Sub Admin status. If you don't know who your main administrator is, please reach out to schoolshelp@edcite.com.


What canSub Admin be authorized to do from their account?:

  • View reports

  • Create and assign District Distributions

  • Create and share Teacher Assigned Common Assessments

  • Create folders

  • Move Distributions and Common Assessments into folders

  • Manage rosters (add co-teachers, add students, login as teachers/students)


What can'tSub Admin do from their account?

  • Authorize teachers and teacher groups
