How Students Can Attach Work to a Question in Edcite

Students can attach work to individual questions in Edcite using the Paperclip tool. This allows students to share additional evidence of their learning alongside their answer, such as handwritten work, calculations, diagrams, annotations, or other supporting files.

Students can take a picture of their work directly from their device or upload an existing file. More than one file can be attached to a question.

1. Open the Paperclip tool

Click the Paperclip icon next to the question number.

2. Take a picture or upload a file

Select Take Picture to capture your work using your device, or Upload File to choose an existing file.

3. Attach the work to the question

After the file uploads, click Attach to Question or Attach Selected File. A notification will confirm that the file has been attached successfully.

Attaching More Than One File

You can attach multiple files to the same question. The number next to the Paperclip icon shows how many files are currently attached.
