Why Use Teacher Groups? [Edcite Schools Feature]

This feature is available as part of our premium platform, Edcite Schools. To learn more about Edcite Schools, click here.

Teacher groups are available in Edcite to give different groups of teachers permissions within the platform. Once a teacher group has been created, and you've added teachers to the group, you can give the group access for each of the actions listed below. Find the help guides with step by step instructions at the bottom of this document!

Teacher Group Permissions:
  1. Reports- specific school(s) or all schools, specific grades or all grades
  2. Teachers- allow them to log in as other teachers, see teachers for specific school(s) or all schools, and view/edit teacher groups
  3. Students- allow them to log in as students, see students for specific school(s) or all schools, specific grades or all grades
  4. Student groups- allow access to student groups for their own students, all students, and/or generate reports for student groups
  5. Classes- see classes for specific school(s) or all schools, specific grades or all grades, and see class groups
  6. Distributions- allow educators to distribute assessments to specific school(s) or all schools, grade(s) or all grades, as well as give access to distribution folders
  7. Assignments- gives access to view and/or manage assignment folders
  8. Questions- gives access to view and/or manage question folders

We recommend editing groups of teachers instead of individual teachers so that you can easily edit multiple educators' permissions at once.
