Assignment Settings - Hide Correct Answers and/or Scores in Student Report

1.  Open the Assignment Editor by going to Assignments, My Assignments on the navigation bar to the left, then clicking on the pencil to the far right of the assignment name.

2. When in the Assignment Editor, click on the Settings Gear at the top right and select Open all Settings from the dropdown.

3. Select the Student Report tab on the left of the pop up.
  1. Choose what to enable from the following settings (descriptions also typed below image):

4. Save your setting by clicking on the Save Changes button at the top right of the pop up.

A. Hide Scores AND Answer Details
Students will not be shown any results, i.e. scores or any answer information, for the assignment. This setting is provided for cases where teachers want to avoid students getting discouraged by preliminary results of their assignment submissions. Teachers will need to share results with students separately, or change the setting later.
B. Hide Answer Details
Students will not be shown answer details for questions in the assignment. Students will see only a score for each question. This setting is provided for summative uses, where you do not want students to have access to answers.
C. Hide Correct Answers
Students will see their answers for the questions, but will not see any solutions, scores or correct answers. Note - this will not apply if Answer Details are hidden.
D. Hide Scores
Students will see their answers and the correct answers and solutions for questions, but not their scores. Recommended for formative assessments where the score is not important to students.
