This guide assumes you have access to an Edcite Schools sub-admin account with permission to access Edcite Schools assignment folders. If you have a regular teacher account, here is a teacher version of this guide. If you need help setting up folders or giving folder access, here is a guide on User Management or you can email schools@edcite.com with the subject “Folder Setup” for help.
Login to your sub admin account. (Optional) - Set up question subfolders by standard or topic so you can easily gather them. Document on creating folders.
In the top menu, choose Home → Teacher Home. Then in the teacher navbar, click on Questions.
On the Question Bank page, enable the State Released Item filter. Then, you can either Search or Browse Standards (details on how to do this are linked). Select question(s) by checking them.
Gathering items to package together later? Click Save Question to save to a folder or your My Questions. If you need help with creating folders, refer to the first step of the document.
Ready to build a full assessment? If you have the questions for a full assessment selected, click Build Assignment to move directly to building your assessment. You can always add more questions from that screen as well following steps 3 and above in this document.
Want to preview a question? Click Show Full Question to see a preview of the question with the correct answer selected. Click View to answer the question. Note - because this is just a single question, it will show in our default Edcite viewer, not your state assignment viewer.
Save Question will open a popover where you can select School Folders, then click on the Folder you want to save the question to. After you click on the folder name, you will see a confirmation. Click OK. If you do not see any School Folders, see the links at the top of the doc around folder setup and user management or contact schools@edcite.com. Questions saved to My Questions will show up on that page. To build an assignment using questions you have saved, click Assignments --> Create Assignment, then follow the steps in this document starting with step 3.
