Build and Schedule a Common Assessment from State Released Items [Edcite Schools Feature]

Finding State Released Items to Build Your Assessment

1. Login to your teacher account. From the navigation bar on the left of your screen, choose Questions, Question Bank. 


2. Above the list of questions in the bank, click the box to the left of  State Released Items. Then, you can either Search or Browse Standards. 

Select question(s) by checking the box to the left of the question, and then:
  1. Gathering items to package together later? Click Save Question in green on the left to save to a folder or your My Questions. 

  2. Ready to build a full assessment? If you have the questions for a full assessment selected, click Build Assignment in green on the left to move directly to building your assessment.

  3. Want to preview a question? Click Show Question to see a preview of the question with the correct answer selected. Click View to answer the question. Note - because this is just a single question, it will show in our default Edcite viewer, not your state assignment viewer. 



    Locking your Common Assessment and Sharing Access with Others:

    1. Once in the Assignment Editor, click on the green lock icon to the left of the "Share" button. After you click on the lock, the assessment becomes a "Locked Common Assessment."


    2.  To share the assessment with other teachers, select the Share button at the top right of your screen. 


    4. In the pop up, select the folder you would like to share the assessment with, then click Add. 

     

    5. After the assignment is shared as a Common Assessment, everyone with access to that folder can use these directions to schedule and assign the Common Assessment.
